OISD extends Superintendent’s contract

     The Oakwood ISD School Board met Thursday night, January 27th. Although brief, this meeting was anything but normal. In the middle of the meeting, the trustees called for a closed session. In this closed session, the board discussed their yearly Superintendent's evaluation. The evaluations must have been favorable as the board voted to extend Superintendent Richard Scoggin's contract to 2015.

Buffalo Police Report
     Cpl Mata located a stranded motorist who was out of fuel. Officer provided courtesy ride to fuel station and back so motorist could continue to destination. Cpl Mata to Highway 164 for report of livestock in the roadway. Upon arrival, officer was unable to locate.
