Kelsey Fahler named to TCU Honor Roll

In recognition of high scholastic achievment, Kelsey Fahler has been named to the Dean's Honor Roll in the College of Communications at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX. for the fall semester 2011. Freshmen at TCU must earn a 3.6 GPA, or better, in order to receive this honor.

Buffalo resident named to TSTC Honor Roll

(Waco) - Jonathan Hollister of Buffalo has earned a place on the Dean’s Honor Roll for the 2011fall semester at Texas State Technical College Waco.

Hollister, a student in Instrumentation, Computerized Controls & Robotics is among those recognized with a scholastic achievement of 3.5 to 3.9 grade point average for the semester.

LC Retired Teachers hosts special guests

Leon County Retired Teachers Association held their January monthly meeting in Centerville, January 25th at 12:00 p.m. in the Municipal Building. The meeting room was decorated in the Valentine theme. Carol Ball, Virginia Crabb, and Beth Jones were the January hostesses. A delicious Mexican food dinner was enjoyed by everyone.
